Many thanks to the ASPCA for the generous grant providing Emergencey Hay and Feed


Between September 2010 and March 2011, Heavenly Horse Haven, rescued 14
horses from crisis situations such as backyard abandonment due to
foreclosures and feedlots due to economic hardships owners experienced.
This brought the total number of horses on the ranch to 44.  ASPCA's
support fed all the horses and provided time for the 10 new horses that
were eligible for adoption to find new homes by July 2011.

We are happy to report that all 10 horses were adopted out to new homes!
The remaining 4 horses will stay at the ranch until adoptable.

This generous grant from the ASPCA enables HHH to continue this important
rescue/adoption work for horses in crisis. The board members, volunteers
and friends of HHH greatly appreciate this crucial support from the ASPCA.
